Dr. Greg Boyer

Greg Boyer is a Professor of Chemistry at the State University of New York, and is the director of the Great Lakes Research Consortium. He is a a biochemist by training with broad interests in the chemistry and ecology of biologically-active natural products produced by plants, algae and bacteria. Special interests include the chemistry and ecology of harmful algal blooms, brown tides, and rapid detection methods for cyanobacteria and other toxin producers in aquatic ecosystems.
