Dr. Ed Rutherford

Ed Rutherford is a Fishery Biologist with NOAA's Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL). He is an expert on the distribution of fish species and habitat types in the Great Lakes. Ed's recent projects include exotic species impacts on food webs, assessing factors influencing fish spawning, evaluating the consequences of dam operations for fisheries, mapping habitats in Lake Michigan, and predicting climate change impacts on fish eggs and larvae.
